I know this sounds clique, but I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to do one for this product. I cannot tell you how HAPPY and SATISFIED I am with this product. I have always had dark chins hairs (I have dark hair and medium skin tone), I mean, noticeable and embarrassing. I have struggled for years with it, shaving multiple times a day to avoid having it show. I also tried monthly hair removal sessions at a local hair removal center. I was paying $250+ a month at the hair removal salon and once I saw some reviews on this product, I jumped on the opportunity to try it! I have owned it for about 3 months now, and I am SO HAPPY with the results. I feel so much more confident about my face and not needing to shy away from close up social situations. I noticed that the sheer amount of hair has significantly reduced and is no longer so course or noticeable. I still have to shave a bit, but literally it is like night and day from before this purchase. The hair growth is so much more slower growth than simply just shaving. I have stayed on setting 4 (out of 5) on my sessions and it feels just like it feels at the hair removal salon, so I would not say it hurts more than any other type of hair removal. I have recommended this product to my friends who also wanted to try something different than the salon. I plan to use it on my armpits in the future.
