How to Prepare

When it comes to laser hair removal there's very little needed in terms of preparation, and we will be able to answer your questions during a consultation. That said, there are some things we may recommend to you before you come in for your treatment.

Avoid Waxing

The root of your hair should be present during treatment. Tweezing, waxing, or any hair grooming that removes the hair along with its root should be avoided, since it could interfere with laser treatment. It's still fine to shave beforehand, although for best results you may want to put the razor down for 24 hours before you come in.

Clean Your Skin Without Lotion or Creams

Before you come in, make sure the skin you want to be treated is free of dirt or oil buildup. It's a good idea to jump in the shower or bath before you have laser hair treatment. A clean surface will help the process work smoothly and quickly. On the day of your appointment, avoid using oils or fragrances on the area you're going to have treated.
